We must be smell or jsut plain mean...

because our friends are moving! I know this is natural because we are young students but man can't we keep just some friends? Nate and Amanda moved last year after about five month of hanging out a ton and becoming really close. Now Beth and Dallas are moving after only four months of hanging out at least twice a week. Just wait the next ones will only be around for a few weeks. Then Josh and Sha will be moving in just over a year so we will officially be friendless. I am telling you it is probably because of Jake's smelly farts or my nasty breath or something. We have got to figure out something before we find our next friends. So here is our classified ad for our new friends:
-must be fun
-not losers who just like to stay at home
-have very little money like us
-live in the Orem/Provo area preferably in our complex would be nice

Start of the new year!

I have been so excited for this year. I don't know why I just really think it is going to be great and life changing for Jake and I since we will almost be done with school at the end and I am curious what our next route will be. I have also actually been excited to start this semester because of all my great classes...so why am I getting hit from all areas. Given some of it is me but yesterday I go to finish my 4 page paper (I had three done already) and my USB won't pull up. It must be shot or something it just won't work in 5 different computer. Needless to say I finished my paper in the 40 minutes that I had which I don't know how. Then last night I went to do my interior design assignment...yep the computer is about toast. I need a new cord because it has a short in it but it finally bit the bullet. Either I will have to find a new cord or figure out something else. Even though life hasn't been so amazing lately and my classes are giving more work than I wanted I still am okay. I have made this resolution this year to try and be happier. It sounds crazy but it is going pretty good for me. I am not a sad person I just think we can all try to have a better attitude. So here it goes to a new year of a better Lynette...wish me well!

Back to School

Well as of today both Jake and I are back in school! It is exciting because we are getting closer to the end but scary also. What are we going to do when real life hits? This semester I am taking 17 credits and working part time and Jake is taking 16 credits and working also. It will be interesting this semester since our schedules are opposite but it will be good also because I only have one night class so the nights we will have together. I am getting into my really good major classes now and tons of my friends are in a lot of them since we are all in the same major classes. Well we will keep you updated on our crazy lives.

A Little Tribute to 2009

It is 2010! Holy cow that sounds so weird. I would have to say that 2009 was non eventful to most but for me and Jake it has been pretty good. I loved being newlyweds but married life just keeps getting better. Here is to 2009:

Jake getting a great job over the summer and finding out what he wants to do
Me working with little kids all the time which I love but it is super crazy
Moving only once this year! Thinking we will be here a while
Jake getting his beloved XBOX and treating himself
Me only having a year and half left of school
Taking our first grown up trip without parents and being married and us paying for all of it (not the fun part)
Going to the temple more
Getting new calling...me on Enrichment/Relief Society Meetings and Jake on the sports
We made some awesome new poor friends to replace the old that moved to Virginia without our permission.
Starting to work out more but really just getting into it now

Other than that nothing too crazy or fabulous but then again we tend to think it is pretty fabulous! It has been so much fun but I know 2010 is going to be even crazier with us finishing up school soon and our lives and careers changing. It will be interesting to see what happens!
