Things are going good

Well can I just say that things are going great! I finished school...graduation on Friday! I am just chilling at home trying to figure out this new stay at home job and other ways to make money so when the baby comes I can have some stuff to do on the side. Also Jake is finishing this last week and then finals. Things are going great! This past week I finished student teaching, turned in all of my work, and said Sianara to BYU! What a great experience though. As I first applied to BYU I thought, "what am I doing?" I never wanted to go to BYU but as this past week came to a close I realized all the many amazing people, friends, advisors, associates, and experiences I have had at BYU. How blessed I was to go to such an amazing school. I could never repay my Heavenly Father for the many miracles that have happened for Jake and I as we have started our family, struggled through school, had many church callings, have moved, and made lots of friends. He knew we were determined to finish school and he has looked out for us this whole time. I can't even count the countless blessings but to name a few just to tell him how appreciative I am for his guidance over us as we have gone to school and started our marriage:
-Jake's surgery: When we found out Jake had to have surgery we had no idea how we would pay for it. 3 months into our marriage we were supposed to pay for this surgery which could cost up to a few thousand dollars. Well he took care of it. The financial center at the hospital knocked off all but 50 dollars of our bill so all we had to pay was the deposit ($250) the $50 and the copays of his visits. What a blessing!
-SMART Grant: During our journey through school we received FAFSA which was a huge help but during our adventure to Logan money was a little more scarce but don't worry, He got it handled for us. Jake heard about this grant and someone told him to apply. Just because Jake was in a computer type major he got $2,000 a semester for 2 years. That is an extra $8,000!!! What a blessing!
-Oracle: Jake got the great internship 2 summers ago which gave us the excuse and expenses to live back in Utah county. He was making over 20 dollars an our as an intern. Which also helped his resume to get his job now.
-Countless Jobs: Jake decided to take a pay decrease last year to leave his dad's work to go to Emergency Essentials. Just a month ago he got his job at Ebix Exchange because of the work that he did at his old job. Also Jake's amazing job now that gives us AMAZING insurance, helping him work through school, and great people and pay. What more could you ask for!
-Being pregnant while student teaching: One of the only things they told us not to do while student teaching...yeah you guessed it. I am a rebel. A few months ago Jake and I decided it was time to start our family. Well who wants a student teacher who is throwing up all the time or not showing up due to sickness. Well I knew it was what we were supposed to do so we still decided to start our family. I never once threw up at school. I only threw up a total of 3 times while student teaching. I had the most amazing cooperating teacher and supervisor. I just prayed every morning that I would be okay.
-The many people who have helped us in other ways and you know who you are. How grateful we are to you for taking care of us! Love you all!

Just my testimony of Heavenly Father knowing exactly what we need and the many blessings that come from following what He wants of us and how he is also aware of our wants.

Done with student teaching and....

I'm pregnant! Today was my last day teaching and Friday is my closing seminar. I am almost done! Also I am about 12 weeks pregnant and I am due the end of October. We are pretty excited. I have been really sick but not throwing up hardly at all. Thank Heavens! Other than that we are just excited for the upcoming months and time to celebrate a trip to Houston for Jamie's wedding, our 3rd anniversary, both of our graduations, and lots more weddings and partying. It will be a fun couple of months. Also hopefully will be taking a cruise before the baby comes! Well that is all. Hope you all enjoyed our little update.
