You know those times...

When you have an experience and you are just so grateful for either the life you have, someone special, or what you know. That is exactly what I have been thinking about lately. So there is this couple that lives a street away from us but we see them a quite a bit. They are fairly young and they have a three year old or so daughter. So they live in these buildings we like to call the "prision" because they are cement scary buildings and everytime we see them outside they are fighting about stupid stuff. They are always yelling in front of the little girl and being so rude. The other day he was leaving and she walked up to the car yelling and then she goes to the window and he rolls it up on her almost smashes her fingers. They are both pretty young so I am guessing the whole relationship started a long time ago and they are still with each other. I just really was so appreciative this last week for Jake. I know we have our disagreements but he would never do that to anyone especially me. I also realized how grateful I am for the knowledge of the gospel to know that I can be with him and our family forever. It is such a blessing in my life and I know we treat each other so much better because of this knowledge. Just thought I would share a little gratitude note to remind us all to be a little better, nicer, and more understanding and not lose our temper so much.

This last week at a glance

So it was an interesting week. Parts of it were so crappy and parts were really good. So I just started a new job where I will be working for Chrysalis at a home for the disabled. I am really nervous but I think it will be a great opportunity. Then Jake found out some bad news and then somebody hacked into his e-mail. Then I got home at 1:30 am from orientation. Then we went to Winger's for my birthday lunch :). Then we spent the whole week trying to figure out what we are going to do with school. Then we went to Walmart, DownEast (got a cute shirt with my birthday money!), and Home Depot to get some nails to finally set up our pictures and everyone was so cheerful so it was really nice. Oh then last of all Jake got me my matching bookcase from Shopko! Yay! How romantic! That is okay I really wanted it. Oh and then there is this guy in our ward who looks exactly like my gay friend from high school! I couldn't even look at him it was so crazy! Well that was all random but that was about how my week was. Here is to another week of my crazy life but at least I have a crazy husband to be with me through it all. Love you Jake!

WARNING!

Just a word from the wise Hotmail has had a lot of email scams going on and people breaking into accounts...this is what happened to Jake last night. I know it is hard but try to make your passwords different and don't have any important info in your emails. Also if it happens to you change all of your password immediately. Also make sure to not get statements from your bank through email and erase any contact information. Just trying to help I guess a lot of people are having it happen. Oh and if you get emails from Jake saying he is in England and he needs 2400 dollars don't listen to it because obviously he wouldn't spend that much and we are too poor to go to England anyways! Love you all!

Dez's Fight Against Cancer

Hey I just wanted to let you all know that my auntie Dez has been diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer and she has set up a blog at dezsfightagainstcancer.blogspot.com. She is such a trooper and she is fighting this cancer's butt. If you want to check out her blog it is great. Also they are selling some super cute bracelets for 20 dollars for all those who are interested to help her pay for medications since most of her pills are 40 bucks a piece! Well thanks to everyone!
