Officially Moved

So it is official we have moved in with my parents. It actually isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Hey and saving up a couple more thousand for a down payment will definitely be worth it. So we will see how the next few months go. Also my parents are great about keeping to themselves anyways. I am just really excited for Jake's new job to start and him getting into it especially because his job now has been a little poopy lately. Yay for awesome jobs that pay good money and treat you great! We are just really excited for this year and the new changes we are going to see. How truly blessed we have been. Also thanks to all those who helped us move yesterday. We really do appreciate it!

Jake got a job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay!!! Jake got a job in Park City. Jake started looking for job really the end of January and beginning of February. Well after one horrible interview (the biggest jerk ever who told Jake he was dreaming of making that much money), 2 great interviews, and two phone interviews he got a job! This job he interviewed on Monday then had a phone interview on Friday with practically an offer and then they called Monday and offered him the job. We took it and we are moving this Saturday. It has been moving really fast but we are so excited! He is going to be s Software Developer at EbixExchange. We are hoping that we can save up some money and buy a house in a the next year or so. A lot of changes in our life. We are excited for him to start him job but so sad to move our area, ward, and friends. So here is to amazing blessings and realizing that the Lord hears our prayers!

Good Day!

Today was such a good day! I was a little worried because first period was going slow but then we got to second period and we had so much fun! I did a fun little activity but they were actually interested in budgeting. I made it fun and gave some funny (or should I say really crappy) statistics about Utah and how bad we are with money and they were interested. Also they loved all my stories and just talking about money and whatever was on their mind. I then had FCCLA activity today and we made cards for a Juvenille detention center. Then came home to my AMAZING cheesecake that I made last night. I tried it for Thanksgiving and it didn't work out very well so I tried it again. Have got a lot of homework done and life is just good. My students are starting to like me (at least when their friends aren't around). For the most part it is going good. There are some things that really aren't going good but I will keep those to myself. Also Jake has had lots of people calling for interview for jobs so everyone just keep him in your prayers. He got a little discouraged after a punk interviewed him yesterday. He laughed when Jake told him how much he would like to make. The guy said to email him if he got that much in this economy (news flash: he has got offered more but they needed him full time so he couldn't) get over yourself dude. I am sure something will work out we just have to be patient...but as of today everything is going really good! :)

Cheesecake:

graham cracker crust (the larger size)

Filling:
2 pkgs cream cheese
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c sugar

Second Layer:
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 pt sour cream

Mix ingredients for first layer and pour into graham cracker crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Take the pie out and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then mix together the second layer (I do extra vanilla) and put spoonfuls around the edge. Then move along the edge and slowly move in while smoothing it out. Then bake at 275 degrees for 7 minutes. Let cool for a couple hours or over night.
