General Conference coming up
Can I just say how excited I am for conference this weekend?! Maybe it is me just wanting it to be the weekend but I feel like I really need something right now. I had a friend say something a while ago and gave advice about serving people when you are feeling down in the dumps and so I have decided I am looking for more opportunities to serve. I am a little busy now but this past Sunday my little prayer was answered. This next month I am going to teach Relief Society in our new ward. It has lifted me up already and what do you know...the lesson is on service. So since I have been a little busy I have asked for help to enjoy student teaching more and to find more ways that I can serve my students. But other than that I am excited for conference for some more uplifting material. I am needing a little bit right now and I think there is going to be some amazing stuff. I always love watching or listening to conference. Hope you all enjoy your weekend. I sure do love you, Nette. (Just in case you forgot.) There were some INCREDIBLE talks on service during conference, weren't there!! It seems if you pray and listen with real intent, the Lord will send the answer in more ways than one. This past month has been absolute hell for me. The highlight of the past few weeks were the days that I looked past my own self and thought of someone else. It's amazing what service can do, for who you serve, but more so for your own soul.
